Bamboo Green Ventures (BGV) operates in close partnership with rural Cambodian communities, leveraging the sustainable potential of natural bamboo to bring about a holistic impact. Their approach entails active community engagement, economic empowerment through bamboo-based livelihoods, enhancement of social well-being, and ecological conservation by promoting bamboo's sustainable attributes. BGV's initiatives foster economic development, minimize environmental harm, and contribute to overall regional prosperity, ensuring maximum social, ecological, and economic benefits for all stakeholders involved.

Educate and empower local forest communities to manage natural bamboo into a sustainable economic model.

Implement top value chains and products from the natural bamboo .

Undertake partnerships to develop bamboo crops to reduce carbon emissions and develop alternative energy sources .

Expand markets for bamboo products that value social impact, environmental stewardship, and balance of profits .

A mechanical and electrical engineering consultant and spent many years in UK, Switzerland and Malaysia in the field of sustainable energy equipment and process engineering and leading companies in design and manufacture of reliable and accurate pressure sensing equipment for the Aerospace, Oil, Gas and Petrochemical industry.

VIMOL CHHORN


A graduate of Royal University of Law and Economics, with accreditation by Université Lumière Lyon 2 (France). Eight years experience in hospitality industry as General Manager at Skyline Hotel & Apartments. Sucessfully lead the Sale and Marketing team of Kirirom Food Production (Cambodia) – KFP for three years both in local and international market. Appointed as Commercial Attaché, Economic Department, French Embassy in Cambodia
